Canyon View Medical Group has been honored for the seventh time as a best performer for medical groups in the United States. Each year medical groups submit lots of data for evaluation to the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the major professional organization for medical clinics. All clinics who submit information are assessed and compared with all others in the United States to find best practices. Those selected as best performers are in about the top 2% of all those practices who submit information for evaluation. One of those areas in which we excel is in patient satisfaction and business operations. Our practice administrator, Curt, has been asked to speak at national conferences on Canyon View's success. He was also asked to testify at a congressional hearing on upcoming privacy standards in the medical field, the only clinic administrator in the Western United States who was asked to participate.
